What are benefits of EDLI?

On death of member while in service, the nominee of the deceased shall in addition to PF / EPS accumulation, be paid an amount equal to average balance in the PF accumulation of the deceased for the preceding twelve months and if the average balance exceeds Rs 35000/- then the amount payable shall be Rs 35000/- plus 25% in excess of Rs 35000/- subject to a maximum of Rs 60000/-
